Bylaws: Amending and Revision

Bylaws are the framework for an organization. Just as a house needs to be upgraded or maybe even renovated, so bylaws should be changed and occasionally revised. This workshop covers the relationship of bylaws to other rules, the best grammar for styling bylaws, when to amend and revise, how to give notice, and the limitations notice places on floor amendments. Strategies for proposing and adopting controversial amendments are discussed.
