    Lee Woodward, PRP, CP, is the city secretary and public information officer for the City of La Porte, Texas, and is the President-Elect of the Texas Municipal Clerks Association. She is a frequent instructor on election law, parliamentary procedure, public information, and records management. Woodward holds credentials as a Professional Registered Parliamentarian (NAP), Certified Parliamentarian (AIP), Texas Registered Municipal Clerk, Texas Certified Public Manager, IIMC Master Municipal Clerk, and ICRM Certified Records Manager. She is active in EAP and as a member of four of its units; in the Texas State Association of Parliamentarians (TSAP) and as a member of five TSAP Units; as a member and past president of the Betty S. Green Chapter of AIP; and as Audit Chair of AIP. She is a member of the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers, Texas City Management Association, Texas Women Leading Government, and AnitaB.org, is an IIMC Athenian Leadership Society Fellow and Dialogue Facilitator, and is the Treasurer of the League of Women in Government. Woodward is a graduate of Texas A&M University (College Station) and Johns Hopkins University and a charter member of the Association of Graduate Liberal Studies Programs Honor Society at Rice University on behalf of the JHU MLA program.
