I'm Telling It All: Role of Tellers in an Election

Tellers play an important role in the election of officers. This interactive workshop will provide participants the opportunity to enhance their understanding of the tellers' duties and responsibilities in executing a ballot election, what should and should not be done in counting ballots, how to report results, and how to archive ballots. (1.25 CEU)

    Twylah L. Jenkins, PRP, has been a member of NAP since October 2019, and earned the credentials of Registered Parliamentarian in February 2021 and Professional Registered Parliamentarian in December 2023. Twylah’s parliamentary background and interest grew out of her desire for structured and efficient meetings and fairness and respect for all members. Twylah is continually deepening her parliamentary knowledge by serving as Secretary for the Pennsylvania Association of Parliamentarians; Secretary of the Parliamentarians of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Chair of the Governing Documents Committee for Howard County Unit; and being an involved affiliate member of the Parliamentarians of Bucks County of NAP, Green Gavel Electronic Unit, member of the American Institute of Parliamentarians, and President of the Parliamentary Speaking Toastmasters Club.
