Course Description
Preside over your next meeting with confidence! This course includes a basic meeting script for you to keep! The presiding officer sets the tone for the meeting. He or she needs to know the magic words that bring order and enjoyment to a productive meeting. Knowing what to say and when will give a new president or chairman confidence about how to handle a motion and manage discussion and decision making.

This course covers basic presiding duties, the standard order of business, what to say, when to say it, and the six steps to handle a main motion. It also includes as an attachment a basic script for a regular meeting for user practice outside the course.
